Out of the box, the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro sounds great. But Anker hides some of the best features deep inside the Soundcore app menu.
If you want to get your money's worth, here are the 5 settings you need to change immediately.

1. Enable LDAC (High-Quality Audio)
By default, the earbuds use AAC to save battery. If you are on Android, you are missing out on 3x the data detail.
- How to fix: Go to Sound Mode -> Preferred Audio Quality -> Turn on LDAC.
- Note: This does not work on iPhone (iOS doesn't support LDAC).
2. Customize the "Squeeze" Control
The Liberty 4 Pro uses a "Squeeze" mechanic on the stem (like AirPods Pro) instead of touch.
- The Trick: You can customize the sensitivity. If you find yourself accidentally pausing music when adjusting the bud, go to Controls and lower the "Squeeze Sensitivity" to 2.
The screen on the charging case isn't just for battery life. You can turn it into a remote control.
- How to fix: In the app, find "Case Settings". You can set it to control your camera shutter (for group photos) or even "Find My Device" to make your phone ring.
4. HearID Sound Test
Don't use the default EQ presets.
- The Trick: Run the HearID 2.0 test. It plays beeps at different frequencies to map your specific hearing ability and creates a custom EQ profile just for your ears. It makes a massive difference for vocals.
5. Wind Noise Reduction
If you run or cycle, the ANC can sometimes make a "whooshing" sound.
- How to fix: Go to ANC Settings and toggle "Wind Noise Reduction" to ON. It uses the 6 mics to detect wind and filter it out instantly.
