The INIU 140W Power Bank makes a bold promise: Flagship performance for a budget price.
It claims to charge a MacBook Pro 16" to 50% in 30 minutes, just like the $150 Anker 737. But at nearly half the cost, where did they cut corners?
We put it through a stress test to find out.

1. The Specs (On Paper)
- Capacity: 27,000mAh (Flight Safe... barely. It's 99.9Wh, which is the absolute limit for TSA).
- Max Output: 140W (USB-C1).
- Ports: 2x USB-C, 1x USB-A.
2. The Real-World Test
We plugged it into a dead MacBook Pro 16" (M3 Max).
- Speed: It instantly negotiated 138W. It successfully fast-charged the laptop while we were editing video.
- Heat: This is where budget banks usually fail. The INIU got warm (about 45°C), but it never got hot. The plastic casing actually dissipates heat surprisingly well.
3. The "Gotchas" (The Bad Stuff)
- The Screen: It’s dim. Unlike Anker's bright OLED, this is a basic LED number display. Hard to read outdoors.
- One-Way Fast Charging: Only USB-C1 does the full 140W input/output. USB-C2 is capped at 45W. You have to remember which port to use.
The Verdict
If you don't care about a fancy screen or app control, this is the best value laptop charger on the market. It does exactly what it says on the box.
